Landscapes

Recent landscapes are mainly from the Highlands and more locally from our home area of the Black Ise. They nearly all start outside in 'plein air' and some are finished there. Some are finished in the studio. Some start as quick sketches in pen and water-colour with the idea worked up in the studio. I've always loved photography but only recently started using photos as reference for paintings. Sometimes there is no time for anything else! So they can be a help if used wisely!
